2008 Riverby Sauvignon Blanc

Light to medium straw green in colour, this wine has an exuberant nose of apples, pineapple, melon, lime and passionfruit on a background of traditional sweaty gooseberry characters. It is pleasantly full bodied with lingering acidity and complex flavours of grapefruit, lime, gooseberry and passionfruit. This is a very juicy, almost creamy, style of wine with great mouth-feel, satisfying complexity and an impressive minerality.
