2009 Solitude Chardonnay Carneros

Layers of oak complement the tropical fruit flavors of the Carneros appellation. This wine is dry, full and very rich but retains refreshing acidity to keep the wine well balanced. Traditional Burgundian techniques of barrel fermentation, less stirring and 100% malo-lactic fermentation increase complexity and richness. The wine drinks beautifully in its youth and will gain aromatic and flavor complexity with additional age.
