Flask Fine Wines & Spirits in Studio City is an icon that was remodeled 3 years ago into an easily accessible venue for fine wines and spirits including a copper-top 18-seat wine tasting bar. We have served the neighborhood since 1962 from our prime, Ventura Boulevard location. Neighborhood wine and spirits shops are sometimes perceived to have a more limited selection than their Supermarket or Mega Store competitors, but sometimes service and expertise get sacrificed for convenience and quantity. When you stand in the middle of a mega-store and can't see all four walls or can't find someone who has ever tasted any of the wines they sell...you begin to gain more respect for your neighborhood wine shop.

It's refreshing to talk to people that enjoy sharing their appreciation of wine and have actually tasted the wine they are recommending. Flask Fine Wines stocks over 500 wines from around the world and has an entire rack of wines for under $15.99. We seek out wines that are great values because we have experienced the feeling of triumph after discovering brilliant wines that don't break the bank. Our staff tastes each wine before we offer them to our customers--our selection of wines is taken very seriously.  It's a clear advantage to have access to an experienced staff that listens and helps you pick just the right wine for the occasion. Whether you are dashing in to grab a bottle of wine for dinner or selecting wines for your company party, our staff takes care to get it right.

Every Thursday and Friday at Flask Fine Wines, the wine bar is open and each week customers can taste a selection of wines, hand-picked by our staff. There is always a theme for weekly tastings like: California wines, Syrahs and friends, Wines of France or "Brown Bag Blind Tasting". The wine tastings are casual, informative and fun with seating for about 18 people. Our wine tastings are ideal for groups of 4 to 6 people. If you are one or two, you can join us at the bar. It's a great way to spend time with friends--tasting and learning about new wines. Customers leave our tastings with multiple bottles of wine they have just discovered and often cases of wine (which we happily help load into their vehicles).

Flask Fine Wines carries a selection of wines from California, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand and Chile.  We also stock fine Scotch and Bourbon, specialty Tequilas, Vodka, Brandy and Liqueurs.  Looking for imported or specialty beers and Belgian ales? We have those too.

Speaking of specialties, Flask is a good place for unique bar and gift items. For many years we have offered classy gift baskets for studios and production companies in Studio City, Burbank and Hollywood. The holiday season is very busy here. We have wine accessories, glasses, wine finers, cork pullers and wine totes of all kinds. Gift wrapping is available.
